Mr Shaun Preston BSc, MD, FRCS(Eng), FRCS(Gen)
Mr Preston is a Consultant Surgeon at The Royal Surrey County Hospital Guildford and lead clinician for the Regional Oesophago-Gastric Unit. He is also Senior Visiting Fellow at Surrey University.
He specialises in laparoscopic surgery for reflux, achalasia, giant paraoesophageal hernias, oesophageal and gastric cancer, along with abdominal wall hernias and cholecystectomy.
He was previously Consultant Upper GI Surgeon on the Northern Oesophago-Gastric Unit, Newcastle-upon-Tyne (2001-2006) and a Fellow at the National Cancer Center Hospital, Tokyo (2001). He is a member of council and member of the clinical services committee for the Association of Upper GI Surgeons (AUGIS).
