Mr Christopher Eden
Mr Christopher Eden Is a Consultant Urologist at The Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford and The Hampshire Clinic, Old Basing. He Qualified in 1985 from Kings\'s College Hospital London winning the surgery and Paediatric prizes. Trained in Urology at King\'s College, St Thomas\' and Guy\'s Hospitals in London; awarded Master of Surgery thesis in 1997 for investigating the use of alternative tissue aproximation techniques for Laparoscopy. Author of 32 papers, 9 chapters and 1 book on Laparoscopic Surgery.
Mr Eden performed the first Laparoscopic Pyeloplasty in the UK in 1994, first Laparoscopic radical prostatectomy in the UK in 2000 and the first Laparoscopic Radical Cystectomy in th UK in 2001. He has the largest experience experience in the UK of minimal access radical Prostatectomy and has performed over 2,000 Laparoscopic operations.
